Our Illustrious Bloggers:

Julian
Julian is a trannyfag extraordinare who blogs about gender and sodomy and loves Last.fm. He volunteers for Genderfork, a blog about androgyny and gender-variance, and also blogs for Aerophones and Aeroplanes, another music blog. In his spare time he plays music, listens to music, and rereads Harry Potter books.
Kiel
A self professed Queermo and FAGglepuss, Kiel became a music snob after listening to his mother’s Harry Chapin tapes as a child and buying a Minor Threat record from a garage sale in 1996. After discovering Pansy Division and Limp Wrist, Kiel became involved in Queercore and Homocore culture. Other genres he enjoys are IDM, post-rock, electronica, industrial, neofolk, jazz, and anything with a catchy bass. When not listening to music, Kiel writes it both by himself in his many [un]finished works, and in his two-piece queerfolkcore outfit Choked by Cock (CBC) with Mr. J. Nelson. In his free time and academic life, Kiel researches his anthropological dissertation interests in emerging sexual/gender identites online, internet anonymity and meme, stand alone complexes in the age of the internet, transhumanism and the singularity, queer theory and its application in contemporary China, Chinese cybernationalism and the “human flesh search engine”, and Legal Language and Trans/Queer rights. Sarah
Sarah is a raging ecoqueer who likes bright colors, using very long words out of context, and only makes music when she sings in chamber choir. She suspects she is on this blog mostly as decoration. Her first music exposure was to her mom’s hokey folk music, but she soon started to rebel by listening to such lascivious fare as The Beach Boys and the Godspell soundtrack. Currently, she favors ambient music with plenty of delicious bleeps and bloops and modal harmonies and layered chords and lush vocals and whatnot, and is not picky where she gets it from. Fever Ray and Enigma are eternal favorites. Queer music fills her with especial squee; if it can be described by the above adjectives, is liable to be played until it wears out. In her spare time, she enjoys scaring off her social life with generous applications of the internet, dressing up as a fake hipster, and contemplating the eternal question of why she can write porn but not draw erotica.
